Margie Lavonne Williams: 1930-2012

Margie Lavonne Williams, 81, died Thursday, April 19, 2012, in Amarillo, Texas.

A memorial service was held Monday, April 23, at Highland Baptist Church in Pampa, Texas, with Rev. Paul Nachtigall, Pastor officiating. Cremation under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A former longtime Grand County resident, Margie was born June 27, 1930, to Walter C. Baker and Clara (Murray) Baker in Hartley, Texas. She lived in the community for 12 years and was a member of Highland Baptist Church of Pampa.



Margie is survived by her sons, Robert Williams of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mark Williams of Valparaiso, Ind.; daughters, Kaye Richardson and husband Mike of Pampa, Charlene Harvey of Denver, and Jeannie Williams of Valparaiso, Ind.; sister, Frieda Byram of Amarillo; nine grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Brittany, Brandon, Kari, Patrick, Jeremy, Shane, and Tara; and 13 great-grandchildren.
