Meetings in Grand County

Official government meetings this week in Grand County include a Grand Lake Board of Trustees meeting, an East Grand School District Board of Education meeting and a Fraser Planning Commission meeting.

The Grand Lake Board of Trustees meeting will be held on Monday March 28, 2016 starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Grand Lake Town Hall. Highlights of the agenda from the meeting this week include: Review of January sales tax receipts, consideration of three liquor license renewals, a public hearing regarding an ordinance approving an amendment to the Marina Drive Minor Subdivision, a possible adoption of an ordinance approving an amended plat for 402 Marina Drive, consideration of a special event permit for the Community Church of the Rockies, consideration of a building permit for a covered boat dock located on Shadow Mt. Lane, and consideration of a resolution establishing fees and deposits for the use of the Grand Lake Center.

The East Grand School District Board of Education meeting Tuesday has a fairly short agenda scheduled. Following an executive session the Board is expected to announce the finalist candidate for the position of EGSD Superintendent.

The Fraser Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, March 30 at 6:30 p.m. regarding the replatting of lots 72 through 75 in the Rendezvous subdivision. The board will hold a public hearing with possible action on the replatting and the Rendezvous Amended Final Planned Development Plan.
