Meetings in Grand on June 26 probe: “How good is broadband in Grand?”

How good is broadband in Grand?

Northwest Colorado Council of Governments has begun a planning project for the development of an eight-county strategic plan to improve broadband access across the region. Part of this planning project is to gather input from community stakeholders with respect to broadband in the region. NWCCOG has hired a technical consultant who will be conducting community meetings around the region. The purpose of these meetings is to answer two questions: “What is the state of broadband in Northwest Colorado?” and “If it’s not as good as we would like it to be, what should be done?”

There will be three meetings in Grand County on Wednesday, June 26 as follows: 9 a.m. – 10:30 p.m., Kremmling Chamber of Commerce, 200 Park Ave., Kremmling, CO 80459; 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m., Fraser Town Hall, 153 Fraser Ave., Fraser, CO 80442; 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., Granby Town Hall, Zero Jasper Ave., Granby, CO 80446.

RSVP to Sherry Rogstad 970-468-0295 ext. 104 if you will be attending. There are several meetings being held throughout the region. For a complete list of meeting locations and dates, visit the broadband page on NWCCOG’s website.
