Middle Park boys soccer team receives all-conference honors, finishes season strong

Middle Park’s boys soccer team recently wrapped up their fall sports season and several of East Grand’s athletes secured individual honors for their performances in 2018.

Securing All-Conference honors this year were four Panthers. Junior Jaime Rios received First Team All-Conference honors this year, while senior Cameron Dellamano received Second Team All-Conference honors. Junior Vinny Trocolli and sophomore Gustavo Galaviz were named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention list.

Rios was also named to the All-State Honorable Mention list.

The Panthers ended the season with the most wins since 2009, finishing with an 8-7 record. The team finished ranked 35, only three spots away from earning a spot in the 32-team state tournament, which the team hasn’t made since 2011.

“No one can deny all that the team accomplished this season and the program is moving in the right direction,” said coach Dane Ruttenberg. “I’m really proud of the boys this season. I’m grateful to the seniors for putting their hearts into the progra
