Model trains display opens Dec. 12

Sky-Hi News staff

For the sixth consecutive year, the Grand County Model Railroad Club is presenting its model trains display in Granby, having been working on the project in anticipation of the holiday season. The model train is bigger and better than ever, say Club members, with a layout that runs five Oscale trains, a huge mountain, three tunnels, and about 40 Christmas Village houses.

The display will be open to the public starting this week, Dec. 12. This year, the train is on display in a new location at the modular next to the Granby soccer dome. Look for street signs that point you in the right direction. The Grand County Model Railroad Club/ Moffat Road Railroad Museum & Interpretive Center has constructed the display for the public to view free of charge.
