Monday is the deadline to register to vote in Fraser Sanitation District election

Residents and property owners in Fraser: At long last, the election in regard to the dissolution of the Fraser Sanitation District is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3. The election will be only by mail-in ballot.
Eligible voters are those who are registered to vote who reside within the district (basically the Town of Fraser) and those who own property within the district and are registered voters in Colorado. If you own property in the Fraser Sanitation District and do not live there, you must request a ballot. Those living within the District will receive the ballot with the rest of their election materials. To request a ballot, contact the Grand County Clerk’s office by mail, fax, or Web site. Ballots must be received in Hot Sulphur or at one of the drop off sites by 7 p.m. Nov. 3. Fraser Valley Baptist Church in Fraser is a drop-off site.
The last day to register to vote is Monday, Oct. 5. Registration can be done by mail, fax or Web (see info above) with the County Clerk’s office.
