Mountain Family Center seeks sponsors for needy families

Each December, the Mountain Family Center seeks community members to bring holiday cheer to needy families as part of its Christmas program. The Center gathers gifts and grocery cards for families struggling to make ends meet, and still has four families who need to be sponsored. The Mountain Family Center coordinates with the Angel Tree in Winter Park and Grand Angels in Grand Lake to ensure there’s no duplication in families signing up.

“Between the three of us, we serve many families by providing Christmas gifts where there many not otherwise be any,” said Executive Director Helen Morton Sedlar.
