MPFR seeking volunteer coordinator help
The annual Middle Park Fair and Rodeo (MPFR) is a 10-day event that features nearly 50 shows, events, contests and attractions. It is planned and produced by the Middle Park Fair Board of Directors with the vital assistance of nearly 40 superintendents and at least than many additional volunteers.
The key to the success of the events is the thoughtful planning and tireless dedication of the volunteers that oversee individual shows, contests or programs. Many of those volunteer have given many years of selfless commitment to the Middle Park Fair, which includes Grand and Summit counties within its jurisdiction.
With an effort of this magnitude, there are generally volunteer positions to be filled and this year there are two key positions for which the Middle Park Fair Board of Directors is looking for dedicated individuals.
The first is the position of Royalty Superintendent for the Middle Park Fair and Rodeo. This individual who fills this volunteer position would provide supervision for the Royalty Program and make sure the guidelines of the Royalty Pageant and Royalty Program are met.
A superintendent for the popular Kid’s Games is also being sought. Co-superintendents are accepted and even encouraged for people who may not desire to take on the full responsibility of a position.
For more information about either position or to express your desire to volunteer, please contact Larry Banman at 970 725-3347 ext. 167 or lbanman@co.grand.co.us
