Smiles, laughs as National Night Out returns to Granby

GRANBY — Granby’s National Night Out event got underway Tuesday evening in Polhamus Park in Granby. The event is part of a series of similar events held by police departments across the nation on the first Tuesday of August each year. This year’s event, hosted by the Granby Police Department, featured booths and activities put on by local first responder agencies. A helicopter from North Colorado Med Evac descended on a crowd of citizens that numbered in the hundreds.
