New name for Visiting Nurse Assoc.
Beginning June 1, Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will become Northwest Colorado Health.
The new name is part of a comprehensive strategic effort led by the board of directors, leadership, and staff at all levels of the organization. The shared goal is to better communicate who we are, what we do, and why it’s important.
The nonprofit organization started more than 50 years ago as a home health provider in Routt and Moffat counties. Over the decades, the agency’s services have grown to include primary care at clinics in Steamboat Springs and Craig, Public Health disease prevention and wellness programs in Routt, Moffat and Jackson counties and Home Health and Hospice services in Routt, Moffat and Grand counties. Northwest Colorado Health also owns and operates The Haven Assisted Living Center in Hayden and Rollingstone Respite House in Steamboat Springs.
The name Northwest Colorado Health reflects the wide range of health services provided and people served.
