New thrift store opens in Fraser
Fraser, CO Colorado
Fraser Thrift opened on Jan. 7 and is located in the historical Mercantile building on Eisenhower Drive.
The Mercantile building is more than 100 years old and it’s been many things over the years: It has already been a thrift store once, according to owner Elizabeth Kurtak. Popular items for sale are coats and snow pants.
“We are now accepting donations,” said Kurtak. “We accept donations of unwanted furniture, clothing, and household items – we keep them out of the landfill. It’s a positive way to support your community and the environment.”
Call Kurtak to arrange a drop off at the store, 970-531-0230.
“We appreciate the support we have received so far,” said Kurtak. “We have had a warm welcome from the community.”
Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 1-7 p.m.
