New webcam at Alpine Visitor Center In Rocky Mountain National Park

GRAND LAKE – A new webcam has been installed at the Alpine Visitor Center in Rocky Mountain National Park. The Alpine Visitor Center is located at 11,796 feet and is the highest visitor center in the National Park System. The visitor center is located on Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in the United States.

This webcam faces east; highlighting the incredible alpine tundra, a

section of Old Fall River Road, Mount Chiquita, Mount Chapin and Sundance Mountain. This webcam will only be operational during the summer, due to extremely high winds in the winter! Rocky Mountain National Park has three other webcams which highlight Longs Peak, the Continental Divide and the Kawuneeche Valley.
