Dozens and dozens of home-baked pies in these and other mouth-watering flavors will be available for sale, priced at $12, the pies will be available until they are all sold (usually by noon). Last year more than 100 pies were snatched up before the final hour.
This is the 11th annual Thanksgiving Holiday Pie Sale, a dedicated fundraiser that benefits both the Hot Sulphur Springs Library and the library district. Organized by volunteers, the pies are baked by community members. Local bakers with a favorite recipe are invited to participate. Pie boxes are available at the Hot Sulphur Springs Library. Baked pies may be dropped off from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m at the Hot Sulphur Springs Library on Monday, Nov. 25, or at the county building from 8-9 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Nov. 26.
For more information about the sale, or if you are interested in donating a home-baked pie, contact librarian Julie Horn at the Hot Sulphur Springs Library at 970-725-3942.
