Alexander Meyer, 1949-2019

Alexander Meyer passed away Feb. 21, 2019 at St. Anthony Hospital in Denver. He was 69.
Alexander was born in the Bronx, New York, to Edward and Rose Meyer. He lived most of his adult life in Hawaii, where he owned his own business and was an electrical contractor.
After moving to Granby in May 2000, he worked at Bond Electric as an electrician. He continued to provide his knowledgeable services in the community for many years.
Alexander was an avid golf enthusiast, enjoying his time as a marshal at Pole Creek golf course where he loved to play. He had recently taken up fly fishing in addition to building and flying drones. He will be missed for many reasons including the way he could share his warm smiles, embracing hugs, and contagious laughs along with his humoring stories.
Alexander was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Karen Meyer; his children Alex (Jantrey) Meyer and Carman (Elijah) Booth; his grandchildren, Bryn and Trey, and his three siblings.
