Dana Luethy Memorial Service set for Oct. 10 in Fraser

Dana Edward Luethy, 52, of Tabernash passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 5, 2015.

He was born Dec. 25, 1962 in Denver, to Philip and Patricia (Miller) Luethy. He was a graduate of Littleton High School and was married to Sherrie Kibler.

Dana is survived by his Parents, Philip Luethy and Patricia (Mike) Donnelly; Two Sisters, Dee (Paul) Clingenpeel, Debbie (Darin) Rohlf, and many other family members.

Dana is a former member of the Arapahoe Rescue Patrol and the Alpine Rescue Team. After moving to Fraser in 1983, Dana was instrumental in organizing Grand County Search and Rescue, serving as the team’s first Field Director. Dana is also a former East Grand Firefighter with 17 years of service and served on the EGFD Pension Committee.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grand County Search and Rescue.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Oct. 10 at noon at the Fraser Historic Church, Eisenhower Drive at Norgren Avenue in downtown Fraser. Light Lunch will be provided, Pot Luck welcome.
