Frances J. McNeely, 1930-2018


Frances “Fran” J. McNeely, 88, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2018.

Born to Frank and Gertrude Lens, in Amiret, Minn., on March 23, 1930. Following her early years growing up in Marshall, Minn., Fran visited Colorado with some girlfriends and never returned. Following many years as a bookkeeper and banker, she moved to Grand Lake where she was the co-founder/owner of Hi Country Patrol and Snow Removal, the Mustang Gas Station and Towing Service.

In 1985, Fran and her husband retired to Lake Havasu City, Ariz., fishing, boating, and spending many summers travelling the country on their motorcycle and travel trailer. Fran’s remaining years were spent in Northern California with her loving family.

Fran was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Richard J. McNeely.

She will be dearly missed by her loving son Tim McNeely (Leigh Ann), grandson Quinn, granddaughter Peyton, her sisters: Dolores Madsen, Lorraine Anderson; her brothers: Charles Lens, John Lens; as well many other family members and dear friends.
