Obituary: Barbara Ann Martin
Barbara Ann Martin, age 87, passed away on May 20, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Weldon Martin. She is survived by her two children, Dorothy Diana Lynne Kellner of Arvada, Colorado and Daniel Alan Martin of Anchorage Alaska; brother George Hayden (Mary) Owens; granddaughter, Leslie Jeanine (Bradley) Taylor of New York City. Barbara was active in her community as a member of the Denver Women’s Bowling Association and a Girl Scout leader. She was an avid craft-person, especially in knitting and crocheting, and she enjoyed making baby clothes, prayer shawls, afghans and sweaters for family and friends.
Burial will be at 11 a.m on Tuesday, June 25 at the Grand Lake Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Barbara’s name to Hospice of Saint John, 1320 Everett Court, Denver, CO 80215 or a contribution to the charity of your choice.
