Obituary: Annie M. Bourn

Annie M. Bourn passed away Jan. 23, 2009 at the age of 70.

She was born April 18,1938 in Dublin, Ireland to John and Mary Ellen Mooney. After

Annie graduated from Saint Michaels Catholic School in Ireland, she immigrated to the United States. Later, Annie met Bernard Eugene Bourn and they were married Nov. 28, 1964 in Falls Church, Va., and raised their three children together.



Annie worked at the YMCA Laundry Facility in Granby. She was very talented with her hands and loved making Japanese Dolls, as well as knitting and crocheting for herself, family and friends.

Annie welcomed everybody and loved her family and friends. She was a great reader and belonged to the Harlequin Book Club. Annie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.



She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Kevin.

Annie leaves to mourn her passing her husband Bernard, a daughter Sharon Iacovetto, two sons Gerard and John, and six grandchildren, all who she loved very much.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 at Our Lady of Snow with Father Michael Friehofer officiating. Annie M. Bourn’s final resting place will be the Granby Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Foran-Schoenfeld Mortuary – Hot Sulphur Springs.
