Obituary: Dorothy S. Dytkiewicz

Dorothy S. Dytkiewicz, 74, passed away Thursday at the Sterling Regional Medical Center in Sterling.

She was born June 5, 1933, in Chicago, Ill. to Adam and Stephanie Marezak. On April 16, 1955, she married AI Dytkiewicz in Chicago.

The’Dytkiewicz family moved to Brush in 2005. Dorothy was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brush.

She was a former Gir] Scout Leader. She enjoyed working in her garden and knitting.

Survivors include her husband, AI, of Brush; four children, George Tokas, and his wife, Judy, of Minisee VaI]ey, Calif.; Don Dytkiewicz, and his wife, Sue, of Kankakee, Ill.; Geri, and her husband, Kar], Dahle of Snyder; and Michael Dytkiewicz, and his wife, Melanie, of Tabernash; four sisters, Terri Woznicki, Alice Denning, Patricia Joyce, Francine Vainauskas; and four grandchildren, Derrick, Deanne, Emily, and Adam. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter Marczak and Joe Grajek.

A burial was held Monday, May 5, 2008, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 340 Stanford St. in Brush.
