Obituary: Gary Breeze

Gary Breeze, a Kremmling native and resident, passed away in Denver on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008.

Born and raised in Kremmling, he graduated from the University of Utah and served as a first lieutenant in the Office of Special Investigations for the U.S. Air Force.

He married Joy McGuire in 1959 and together they have three children: Gari Lynne, Maureen and Sean.

Mr. Breeze launched a successful banking career before being severely injured in a car accident in 1969. For the past 40 years he inspired his family, friends and all who were privileged to know him with his courage and inner strength. His commitment to life will forever be remembered.

He is survived by Joy Breeze, his sister Betty Jo Breeze, his children Bobby and Gari Meacham, Cole and Maureen Breeze Mehlman, and Sean Breeze and Paulette Sanchez, along with his six grandchildren Brooke Meacham, Ally Meacham Evans, Colton Meacham, Maggie Mehlman, Max Mehlman and Stella Mae Breeze.

Services will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Kremmling at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13. A reception will immediately follow at the Kremmling Fairgrounds.
