Obituary – Joshua Tyrel Schonlau

Joshua Tyrel Schonlau, 20, of Kremmling, passed away Tuesday Oct. 27, 2009, at Porter Adventist Hospital in Denver.

He was born July 13, 1989, in Denver to Dean L. and Anita L. (Hillenbrand) Schonlau. Joshua loved working on cars, leathercrafting, going to music concerts, collecting music, reading, was an avid writer, going to movies, and collecting tattoos. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Joshua was very passionate about life and the things he believed in, and was known for having a great sense of humor.

Joshua is survived by his parents Dean and Anita of Parshall, his brother Isaac and his wife Laura of Kremmling, his sister Katherine of Parshall, his niece Dakota; his grandparents Betty Jean and Harold Hillenbrand of Kremmling, Gloria and Don Schonlau of Denver; and numerous family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A rosary vigil will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday Nov. 2, 2009, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Kremmling with rosary recited at 7p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Kremmling with Father David Allen as celebrant. Burial will follow at Kremmling Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established at Grand Mountain Bank.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Foran-Schoenfeld Mortuary – Hot Sulphur Springs.
