Obituary: Michael Frank Jolovich, 1953-2020

Michael Frank Jolovich

Michael Frank Jolovich passed away on February 20, 2020, after a tragic logging accident.

Mike was born on November 28, 1953 in Powell, Wyoming. Mike grew up in Dayton, Wyoming and graduated from Tongue River High School. After his high school graduation, Mike attended the University of Wyoming with a football scholarship. Upon graduation he worked for Authentic Log Homes in Laramie. In 1992 Mike moved to Granby, Colorado and started Ranch Creek. Mike loved to build things, loved to fly, and loved his family, friends and dogs.

Mike is survived by his wife Maggy Helm, his son Daniel Jolovich, his granddaughters Marlie and Patience, his brothers Randy, Ross, Matt and Todd and their families and his sisters Laurie and Leah and their families.

The hard work, love and friendship he gave to this community is too numerous to name. You are our rock, Mike, and you will be truly missed by everyone.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at the Granby Middle School. Services will begin at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the EAA Chapter or Winter Park Christian Church.
