O’er the hills and through the mountains: Sleigh rides return to Snow Mountain Ranch

Less than a week left before Christmas, Snow Mountain Ranch is booking sleigh rides for the winter season.
The rides are a result of Snow Mountain Stables signing on with Snow Mountain Ranch to have two teams of horses at the ranch throughout the winter season.
The horses made the journey from stables in Steamboat Springs to Grand County to pull guests past the Rocky Mountain’s snow-frosted pines and scenic vistas, ending with a bonfire and hot chocolate.
On the Snow Mountain Ranch property, rides are offered from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. seven days a week.
The 45-minute sleigh rides are $45 for adults and $35 for children. Guests at YMCA of the Rockies can look forward to an additional discount.
For more information or to book a sleigh ride, go to http://www.SnowMountainStables.com, call 970-444-1308 or email snowmountainstables@yahoo.com.
