One horse killed by train near Fraser

On Saturday evening around 7 p.m. loose horses were reported to Grand County Dispatch near County Road 5 and they were headed for the highway.

Grand Count Dispatch confirmed at 7:47 p.m. that one horse was struck by the train and died on the scene. One horse is injured from impact with the train. The owner of the horses is on scene.

There are still 12 horses loose as of this report.
