You know you have it when you wake up and look outside and swear youre in Cleveland.The Grand Arts Council is once again putting on the Cabin Fever Follies talent show April 25, at the Historic Grand Lake Community House. They are actively seeking talent from around the county. This is an open venue for any kind of stage act family entertainment only and a maximum of five minutes of on-stage time. Think up a funny skit, learn a song, dust off the old clarinet, or do the same thing you did last year. Call Jan Sears at 887-0339 for more info. Showtime is 7 p.m. at the Grand Lake Community House.Local Artist Donna Lyons has donated a framed original watercolor titled “Beaver Pond Study” (valued at $250) that was painted plein air in Rocky Mountain National Parks Kawuneeche Valley to be given away on May 23. Any non-perishable food items are appreciated but most needed are Mac & Cheese, soups, Tuna & Hamburger Helper, rice, spaghetti, ramen noodles and peanut butter.The firefighters will be hosting an Easter Egg Coloring at the Grand Lake Fire Station (201 West Portal Road) at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 10. All preschool and school-aged children are invited. Then they will all need to come back the next day for the big Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 11, at the Grand Lake Town Park at 11 a.m. Hosted by the Grand Lake Fire Department.
