Crews are cleaning up after an overturned pickup truck spilled diesel fuel off the side of US Highway 40 by Red Dirt Hill on Monday.
A spokesman for the Grand County Sheriff’s Office reported moderate to minor injuries associated with the wreck that happened as people were on their way to work Monday morning.
The pickup came to a rest on its roof in a ditch off the side of the highway. The pickup has an ESCO Construction logo on its side, and a company representative was on site to help with the cleanup, the spokesman said.
Because pickup was off the roadway, east and westbound lanes remained open after the crash.
