Pelicans in Grand County

A pelican hangs out on Shadow Mountain Reservoir on Friday, May 27. Pelicans are in Grand County from April to October. They are looking for fish, minnows, and frog in lakes and tend to hang out in bigger resevoirs such as Lake Granby but can be seen in small ponds such as the one near the Silvercreek Inn.
