Performances benefit musician stricken with cancer

A benefit for the musician Arnie J. Green, who has been diagnosed with cancer, is taking place starting at 5 p.m. Thursday night, June 16, at the Lariat Saloon in Grand Lake.

Several musicians will be performing on the Lariat stage, such as Steve Cormey, Matt Brown, the Acme Band, Gary Key, Nine Toed Bob and the Stragglers, Bobby Walker and others.

Donations will be accepted to help cover Green’s medical expenses, and the Lariat is hosting a silent auction with items donated from Grand Lake businesses, the proceeds of which will be donated to the cause.
