The Grand Lake Fire Protection District hosted representatives from all five Grand County fire departments, in addition to one person from Division of Fire Prevention and Control, over the weekend for an ice rescue course. Crews were educated on how to rescue people from the ice and in the icy water. There were 15 new certifications and seven refreshers.
