Photos: Blues from the Top returns for another successful year

Colorado’s best blues festival, according to the Colorado Blues Society, returned for another year this weekend, attracting thousands to downtown Winter Park.

Put on by the Grand County Blues Society, the 16th outing of the annual Blues from the Top festival took place June 23 and 24 at Hideaway Park.

The two-day music event was headlined by popular blues band Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, and included performances by Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, Southern Avenue, Honey Island Swamp Band and Dragondeer, Vintage Trouble, Nick Moss Band feat. Dennis Gruenling, Kara Grainger and Fuse Workshop.
