On Sept. 18, Habitat for Humanity Grand County dedicated its first completed home in the past year and a half.

This marked Habitat’s 16th home built in Grand County. A benediction was held for homeowner Leanne Hanson in Hot Sulphur Springs. Grand Quilters donated a beautiful handmade quilt to her for the celebration.

Hanson expressed her thanks to all the volunteers and quilters for their generosity, as did her mother, Rita Hanson, who flew in for the occasion.
