WINTER PARK —Police are still investigating the scene of a falling incident from a building at Winter Park Resort to determine whether the fall was accidental; as of Tuesday afternoon, investigators had not yet ruled out the possibility of suicide, according to Fraser & Winter Park Police Chief Glen Trainor.

A man fell to his immediate death from a fifth-story balcony of a condo at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge around 4 p.m on Monday, Aug. 19, at Winter Park Resort. The 44-year-old man from Minnesota was on vacation with his parents, his two children, his brother, and his brother’s daughter, who were all staying in rooms at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge, according to Trainor.
