Police investigate, protect Pueblo pedophilia author

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) – Police in Colorado are both investigating and protecting the author of a guide for pedophiles.

Phillip Ray Greaves II of Pueblo has drawn national attention because his self-published book was available for sale on Amazon. Amazon is no longer selling the book but it’s not clear whether the company or Greaves removed it.

The book offers advice to pedophiles on how to make a sexual encounter with a child as safe as possible.

The Pueblo Chieftain reported Friday that police haven’t found anything to indicate that Greaves has committed a crime but they will continue to monitor him.

Police say that threats have been made against Greaves and that they are keeping an eye on him to protect him.
