Putting up a playground

Hot Sulphur Springs's new KaBoom PlayWorld playground is becoming a reality. Town Trustee Ray Tinkham operates the auger while a KaBoom volunteer shovels dirt out of the hole during the prep work day on Thursday. Volunteers are still needed to build the playground on Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anyone in Grand County, age 16 and older, is welcome for as long as you are able to help. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
