Raising funds, supplies for county animal shelter, Pet Pals

Sky-Hi staff report

Selfless and generous residents from around Grand County made the recent Patriotic Pet Supply Drive a success.

Granby resident Julianne Eichler wished to thank Grand County for the supply drive that was held over the Fourth of July weekend.

“Your generosity was incredibly overwhelming,” she said.

Several full grocery carts full of dog food, cat litter, kitten chow, pet treats, toys and more were all donated to the Grand County Animal Shelter, including $1,000 in cash donations for Grand County Pet Pals. Eichler also expressed her gratitude to City Market for their assistance in the drive.

“I am so proud and honored to be a part of this fantastic, giving, animal-loving community,” Eichler said.
