Kris Ramer captured this luminous cloud iridescence over Granby Ranch last week. "I didn’t alter any colors - this is exactly what it looked like," Ramer wrote in an email. "According to Google, this forms when the ice crystals in the cloud diffract the light around the outside of the crystal, as opposed to bending the light through it."
