Real estate office celebrates 5 years
If you had asked Real Estate of Winter Park five years ago where they would be now, they would not have guessed they would be the top-selling office in Grand County.
They were the No. 1 Grand County real estate office in 2012, with over $83 Million sold. Every year keeps getting better and better for this group of top producers. Eight local Realtors started Real Estate of Winter Park with the objective to provide unmatched customer service.
“By owning the company we are able to really cater the marketing for our local marketplace. We spend a lot of dollars on marketing because we believe that it really helps our clients sell their properties,” says Cliff Anderson, one of the Broker/Owners.
“Most real estate agents work alone on their marketing efforts. Real Estate of Winter Park is different because we market as a group,” he adds. “This approach also eliminates the typical competitive real estate atmosphere found in most real estate offices because we don’t contend with one another over marketing presence.”
Why are they so successful? “It is our teamwork. We work together and help each other. If you work with one of our agents, you have the support of everyone at our office. You have a team of over 15 agents and three staff members working for you. Where else can you get that kind of service?” Anderson says.
Starting a real estate company during the beginning of the recession would not be something that most people would choose to do, but the folks at Real Estate of Winter Park believed in what they were doing. They continued to have a strong marketing campaign throughout the recession when most companies pulled back marketing dollars.
“We are constantly modifying our marketing efforts and always looking for new strategies that work,” says Lisa Leclair Waldorf, Broker/Owner. “We just published our 4th Annual Real Estate Market Report with statistics comparing the data over the last several years. Look for it around town or stop by our office. We’re next to the Smokehouse BBQ Restaurant in Downtown Winter Park.”
Since Real Estate of Winter Park opened its doors in February 2008, it have added seven associate brokers and Janene Johnson recently joined as a Broker/Owner. They also have a full time staff and are open seven days a week, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday.
Real Estate of Winter Park believes in financially supporting the community. They like to support local organizations that help the community grow so everyone benefits.
