Reginald Craig Sanderson

Reginald Craig Sanderson, 77, of Westmoreland, Kan., formerly of Gunnison and Kremmling, died Dec. 8, 2007 in Topeka, Kan.

Mr. Sanderson was born Aug. 16, 1930 in Gunnison to William Oscar Sanderson and Arlington Lee Crews.

He grew up in Sapinaro and Gunnison, attending Gunnison High School and graduating in 1948. He served as a Sergeant in the army in Korea. He was married to Deanna May McQueary on May 25, 1959 in Parshall.

He was a rancher, mechanic, welder and heavy equipment operator. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by two brothers, William Shields “Bill” Sanderson of Gunnison, and Thomas Lee “TL” Sanderson of Seattle, Wash., two children, Joy Lee DeNicola of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Michael William Sanderson of Wamego, Kan., seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Deanna, and sister, Madolynn.

A memorial service will be scheduled for the summer in Kremmling.
