RMNP pass commemorates centennial

GRAND LAKE—As part of the Rocky Mountain National Park’s 100-year anniversary celebrations, visitors can now purchase a commemorative annual pass.

The 2014 pass will feature the 100th anniversary logo and a pika, a favorite furry resident that depends on the Park’s tundra for survival. Although the centennial celebration doesn’t officially start until Sept. 4, 2014, the commemorative pass will be available all year.

Annual passes cost $40 and can be purchased at any park entrance station, or by calling 970-586-1206 to make a credit card purchase.
