Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre announced its 2013 season of summer and fall productions, and this summer promises to be an unprecedented year at the theatre with high-flying special effects and fun-filled entertainment for the whole family. “We always try to challenge ourselves and our audiences each season, and this year, we wanted to do something we’ve never done before – something our audience thought was never possible in Grand Lake,” said Artistic Director Michael Querio. “This summer, I think we’re going to turn some heads.”

The Repertory Theatre opens the 2013 season with a partnership with ZFX Flying Effects, bringing the magic of flight to Grand Lake for the first time. J.M. Barrie’s immortal story of a flying boy who wouldn’t grow up comes to life on the RMRT stage, enchanting audiences of all ages. This endearing musical is a thrilling and magical journey, full of delightful surprises. Join Peter and his band of Lost Boys as they soar through the air with the greatest of ease and battle the villainous Captain Hook. Beautiful costumes and breathtaking special effects highlight this timeless tale of childhood freedom and joy.
