Rose Marie Baer
Rose Marie Baer of Granby passed away at University Hospital in Denver. She was born Feb. 13, 197,1 in Bridgeport, Illinois to Norbert and Nona (Ball) Skruch. She married Chris Baer on Sept. 25, 1993, and they had one son Dillon.Rose liked to bowl and play softball. She loved the summer and the outdoor activities of summertime. For Rose the warmer it was the better. She loved to read romance novels and was an avid photographer.Rose had a great love for animals, and the more animals the better. Rose, like her father, loved to garden. She enjoyed taking vacations and going on trips. Most recently she went to Mexico and swam with the dolphins. She especially enjoyed sitting on the beach. Rose was also an avid George Strait fan.Rose was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all whom knew her. She was preceded in death by her father Norbert and her grandmother Francis.Rose is survived by her loving husband Chris and her son Dillon, both of Granby; her mother Nona Skruch of White Salmon, Wash.; her brothers and sisters Charlie Houge of White Salmon, Penny Lancaster of Tucson, Ariz., Leroy Schelpher of Littleton, and Norbert Skruch of Tucson; her parents in-law Floyd & Judy Bundren, Tim & Jahn Baer; and numerous nephews and nieces.A life celebration will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, at SilverCreek Lodge. A memorial fund for the Baer Family has been established at Grand Mountain Bank.Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Foran-Schoenfeld Mortuary Hot Sulphur Springs.
