‘Round-up’ scheduled at Granby Ranch Saturday

Granby Ranch has planned a “Round-up” promotional event from 1-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Base Camp One.

The family-oriented activities include a fly-fishing casting clinic, face-painting, putting contests, live music, free chairlift rides and games from 1-4 p.m. followed by a DG dance party until 8 p.m.

Granby Ranch is also celebrating the groundbreaking of a new indoor swimming pool that will open for the 2012 ski season.

Base Camp One Marketing Director Amy Finch noted that Granby Ranch has had one of its most successful sales periods in recent history.

In the last 18 months, Finch said, Granby Ranch has sold 103 residential units.

That’s “more than the total sold in our peer group combined over those 18 months,” she said.

The Lodge at Ten Mile Creek sold 43 units in the past 18 months, Finch said.

Base Camp One saw 27 condos sold in that time period, leaving that condominium association 58 percent sold out.

“We offered 40 percent off discounts a year ago and have increased prices twice since then. We will do so again before the 2012 ski season,” Finch said.

Finch noted that the 10 condos reserved for real estate prospects to experience the Granby Ranch community a and amenities are almost completely booked through Labor Day.
