Run the Ranches race series kicks off Sept. 16

The Run the Ranches race series will begin this year at Devil’s Thumb Ranch.Runners are encouraged to bring the whole family to one or all of the prestigious three ranches hosting either casual 2-3 mile events or a more adventuresome 7-10 mile run.Don’t miss the ranch style hospitality while experiencing a Fall trail run in the scenic Rocky Mountains to benefit Headwaters Trails Alliance.This year’s trail running series will include:• Devil’s Thumb Ranch on Sunday, Sept. 16• Granby Ranch on Sunday, Sept. 30• C Lazy U Ranch on Sunday, Oct. 14Late registration and packet pickup will take place from 8-9:30 a.m. race day for a 10 a.m. race start. Registration fees are $20/adult, $10/ages 6-12, Free/ages 5 and younger. A Procrastination Fee of $10 will be added at noon Friday prior to each race.Fees include a participation gift, refreshments and awards to the top finishers. Commemorative performance shirt will be available for purchase on a first come first serve basis.Register online at RunReg.com.Headwaters Trails Alliance is a nonprofit advocacy organization for trails in scenic Grand County.
