Search underway near Parshall for male party

County law enforcement was busy Wednesday searching for a male party that fled from authorities on foot following a traffic stop west of Parshall at approximately 2:37 p.m. on May 11.
Details from officials were fairly minimal Thursday evening with the situation still active. Deputies were actively searching the area with assistance from members of the Middle Park Emergency Response Team, who were training nearby at the time the male party fled from the traffic stop.
Officials suspect the man may have fled his vehicle with a firearm. This story will be updated as more details emerge.
