During the month of February, the Grand County Animal Shelter is offering discount vouchers for spaying or neutering, as well as for rabies vaccinations.

The shelter has 50 of each voucher available on a first come, first serve basis on Mondays and Tuesdays, when it’s open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The vouchers offer $150 off a spay or neuter for dogs, $75 off a spay or neuter for cats, and $25 rabies vaccination vouchers. Each household can only take one of each voucher and they are good for 30 days.

The vouchers are accepted by every vet in Grand County.

To receive the vouchers, dog owners must buy a county tag for their dogs at $5 for fixed dogs and $10 for dogs that haven’t been spayed or neutered.
