Shopping and dining equals Cash 4 Schools
Winter Park – Cooper Creek Square announces the return of the Cash 4 School program. Those who shop and dine at Cooper Creek Square between Nov. 9 and Dec. 24 can help a Grand County school or preschool of their choosing earn cash to support its teachers. A total of 5 percent of each purchase made during this time, up to $5, goes directly to the Grand County School of one’s choice.
Participants must drop receipts from Cooper Creek Square at a chosen school’s collection box by Jan. 18, and that school will receive payment.
Every purchase at Cooper counts, even a latte receipt.
Shopping locally keeps more money in the community, increases local employment and lowers transportation costs and environmental impact. Relationships grow when you buy from people you know. The goal is to keep whatever money is being spent circulating within the community.
Save the Date: 3-6 p.m., Nov. 24, Holly Days.
Enjoy the holiday season at Cooper Creek Square with strolling Dickens Carolers, adorned in elegant Victorian attire. Have a free picture taken with Santa by a professional photographer. Take the Holiday Treat Tour by sampling a variety of treats in every shop. For ice skaters, $3 ice skate rentals are available at Christy Sports.
