Sixth annual "Tops of the Rockies"
The place to see and be seen on Saturday, June 25, is the sixth annual “Tops of The Rockies” at the Grand lake Yacht Club starting at 5:30 p.m. This fundraiser is sponsored by Friends of the Grand County Library Inc., to provide programming throughout the year for the Grand Lake Juniper Library and other libraries throughout the county
Creative tabletops, decorated and donated by local residents and businesses, will display the theme of a particular book. These will be auctioned off in a live auction. There will also be many great items at the silent auction.
Admission includes light hors d’oeuvres and wine tasting with wine donated by National Distributing Company of Littleton and Ken and Judy Jensen of Grand Lake Wine and Spirits. Everyone will receive a souvenir wine glass.
Advance tickets at $55 can be purchased at gcld.org and click on the “Tops” link. Or drop in to any of your local libraries and write a check to avoid the credit card fees or mail your check to P. O. Box 506, Grand Lake, CO 80447. Tickets will be $65 at the door. Call 627-0874.
