Skier airlifted after collision with snowmobile

A five-year old skier was airlifted to Denver Monday afternoon after the young girl collided with a snowmobile at Winter Park Resort.
Details on the accident were scant Tuesday morning but officials from Winter Park Resort confirmed the incident occurred. According to Steve Hurlbert, Director of Public Relations and Communications with Winter Park Resort, “a five-year old girl skier accidentally collided with a snowmobile,” Hurlbert stated. “She was flown down to Denver for observation.”
The name of the young skier was not released by officials from Winter Park and law enforcement officials from the Fraser/Winter Park Police Dept. were unavailable for comment Tuesday morning.
