Snowboarder found dead on Breckenridge slope
FRISCO, Colo. (AP) – A 27-year-old Denver-area man snowboarding at the Breckenridge ski area has been found dead with a fractured neck.
The Summit County coroner’s office says the man was found among some trees at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday when ski patrol members were doing a final check of the slopes.
Authorities say ski patrol members tried to revive the man, but determined that he was dead.
The snowboarder’s name wasn’t released.
