Children can join the Granby Rec. Department Thursday, March 5 for a fun filled evening. Meet at the Granby Community Building at 6:15 p.m. and eat dinner before heading to the Fraser Tubing Hill for tubing. Children are asked to bring their student ID. Pick up will be between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m.
This activity is offered to children Kindergarten and through 5th grade and the cost is $15 per child ($12 multi-child). Call the Granby Rec. Dept. today at 887-3961 to sign up. The registration deadline is Monday, March 2!
“Sporties for Shorties” is a sports camp just for pre-schoolers.
They will learn about two new sports each week. This program will take place at the Granby Indoor Soccer Dome from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays: March 4, 11, 18 and 25.
Classes are for children ages 3 to 5. The cost is $25 per child for the four week session.

Granby’s Adult Dodgeball League will be held at the East Grand Middle School from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesdays from March 10 through April 21, with no games on April 7.
Co-ed teams consist of a minimum of six players, with at least two female players. All players must be at least 16 years old.
League fees are $150 per team. Team pre-registration is required by Monday, March 2 and spots are limited. For more information or to register call the Granby Recreation Department at (970) 887-3961.
Granby Recreation Department is taking registrations for the spring flag football league. Games will take place at the Granby Indoor Soccer Complex from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Thursday nights starting March 19 to May 7, with no games on April 2 and 9. An organizational meeting is at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12 at the Granby Indoor Soccer Complex.
The cost for the league is $175/team and teams consist of at least five players. Players must be at least 16 years of age. Teams must pre-register by Thursday, March 12 and spots are limited. For more information or to register contact John at the Granby Recreation Department, 887-3293.
Instructor Kathy Naples will teach three, eight week sessions that will teach very beginner, advanced beginner, and Conversational Spanish. Very Beginner and Advanced Beginner classes will be held on Tuesdays from March 10 through May 12 at the Granby Community Building (no class 3/17, or 4/7). The “Advanced Beginners” Class will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and “Very Beginner” Class will be from 7:30 – 9 p.m. Conversational Spanish classes will be held at the Community Building on Thursdays, from March 12 through May 14, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. (no class 3/19 or 4/9).
The cost for each class is $100 per person, with a $10 discount for additional co-workers or family members. Pre-registration is required by March 6. For more information or to register for any of the classes, please call the Granby Recreation Department (887-3961).
